In the same period, a Designing Department Library of the Faculty of Civil Engineering was founded, with a circulating library hall and warehouse of 7270 volumes. During 1982-1984, as new education facilities was built for the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the library patrimony was relocated in the building where it operates at present, holding two lecture halls, one for the Faculty of Civil Engineering (34 places) and one for the Faculty of Architecture (30 places), a circulating library hall and a warehouse.
